The Sublimation Process Explained

First, your custom design is printed onto special transfer paper using specialized sublimation inks. Next, the printed paper is aligned with blank polyester fabric panels. The panels and paper are fed through a large industrial heat press at around 400°F (200°C). The heat opens the pores of the polyester, and the ink turns into gas, dyeing the fabric instantly.

After the fabric cools, the panels are cut and expertly sewn together by our artisans at MESA. This "cut-and-sew" sublimation process ensures the design goes edge-to-edge flawlessly.
